C Media Player supports bitmap-based and text-based subtitle files. The main supported subtitle file formats: .srt, .ass, .ssa, .sub, .idx. etc… Beside this, C Media Player also supports embedded subtitles in the media file.

Yes. You need to select the “Open Network Stream…” path or using the keyboard shortcut (CTRL+V) that you can play network based streams any time you want. You can customize the specified keyboard shortcut as you wish from the keyboard shortcuts window.

The terms 32-bit and 64-bit refer to the way a computer’s processor (also called a CPU), handles information. First of all, you need to know that the operating system of your computer is 32-bit or 64-bit. To do this;

 

Open system by clicking the Start button, right-clicking Computer, and then clicking Properties.
Under System, you can view the system type.
You can then use the appropriate C Media Player version.

No. Just click and run, you do not need any requirements(.NET, etc.)

You are right in this regard but C Media Player will start working on other platforms shortly after reaching the final release. We need your understanding and support in this regard. We will keep you informed when the time comes. Stay tuned.

You can allow multiple copies to run by going to the C Media Player settings and unchecking the “Allow only one instance” checkbox.

C Media Player is fully compatible with your hardware, it works in the most optimized way and it does all of these things automatically. However, there are still some possible situations. Some possible reasons;

 

The media file you want to play requires more hardware and the computer you are using may not meet these requirements.
The graphic card driver may not be installed on the computer you are using. You can install the required driver with support from your graphic card vendor. You will see that C Media Player will work better.
There may be a problem with the operating system of the computer you are using. You can solve this problem by keeping your operating system up to date.

This situation is vaild for every application. Of course, there is no error-free application. However, before a new version is released, it runs through certain tests and is available to end users when they are ready. We are trying to fix the errors or problems as we are detected. If you have found an error or problem, you can contribute by correcting it with feedback.

Yes. You can add your files by dragging and dropping them on the playlist, either from the menu or right clicking on the playlist.

Yes. It supports popular playlist file formats (.xspf, .m3u, .m3u8, .pls). You also can use its own playlist file format (.cmpl). You can open these file formats or save them on your disk.

It’s so easy to do this. You need to select the “Exit at the end of Playlist” path under the “Media” menu.
ou can access the information of the media file you are playing from the “Tools” menu using the “Media Information” path or using the keyboard shortcut(CTRL + M). If you wish, you can change this keyboard shortcut from the keyboard shortcuts window.

C Media Player checks for updates at specified intervals by default and displays a warning message if there is a newer version. If you are uncomfortable with these warning messages, you can uncheck the “Automatically check for updates” checkbox in the settings and save. However, it is not recommended that you disable this feature in order to avoid deprecating new features or resolving errors.
